History
Eddie Brock was transformed into the Scorpion by Farley Stillwell on behalf of J. Jonah Jameson, and sent to destroy Spider-Man. However, Jameson ordered him to stop after learning that it wasn't Spider-Man's fault that Curt Connors was killed, but Brock became angry that he had become a freak for nothing. He kidnapped Jameson, and threatened to destroy New York City with radiation but was stopped by Spider-Man. He later escaped from prison after bonding with a symbiote and went after Jameson again, but once again Spider-Man stopped him and had the symbiote de-tach from him. Now left to face life as the Scorpion once again with no hope of a cure, Brock committed suicide.
